Vintage 50s Black Patent Handbag

Vintage 1950s black glossy patent handbag (unsure if vinyl or leather). Top of frame is trimmed with matte black pebble grain vinyl (could be leather). Frame and clasp are in good working order. Handle attachments and four feet at base seem to be brass however, clasp is gold tone finish. Purse interior is lined with black taffeta-like fabric with open slit pocket. No makers tag or signature.

There is a small divot in the front patent though no puncture or scratch is present. There is very light wear to the clasp finish. See photos.

Vintage Coblentz Dark Navy Handbag

Tailored perfection. Vintage 1950s Coblentz handbag is dark navy, likely leather, with satin navy interior, open pocket as well as one coin pocket working metal zipper marked "talon." Unique sculptural gold tone closure still snaps tightly though it does show light wear (see photo). All other hardare is in excellent condition. Overall, this little handbag shows very light wear. The only sign of age is the fading to the bottom of the interior lining.

Vintage Deco Brown Leather Handbag, 1940s

This 1940's brown leather purse has a timeless tailored design which features deco details and gold tone hardware, grosgrain interior fabric and pocket with working zipper. There is minor scuffing present (see photo) however, appropriate for age and use and may disappear with a good polish. No major flaws noted. Interior is clean and in good condition. Four feet at base are firmly attached.

Measurements: 9 3/4" width, 3 3/4" depth, purse compartment is 5 1/4" in height (10 3/4" including handle drop).

Vintage Hand Beaded Black Evening Bag, Hong Kong

Fine evening bag, hand beaded with thousands of tiny black round and tubular beads which create a monotone pattern which resembles chrysanthemums or perhaps fireworks. Nice filigree type gold tone frame and two aurora borealis rhinestones adorn the kisslock closure. This bag is in amazing condition with no missing beads, no loose threads and the interior black satin lining has no tears. An interior tag states "HAND BEADED, MADE IN HONG KONG." The bag weighs 1 lb, 2 oz empty. Some slight wearing to the gold tone at the kisslock closure and handle hardware is present, however this is only apparent on very close inspection. This bag has been very well cared for. 9" in width, nearly 1 3/4" depth at base and 7" height (13 1/2" including strap drop).

Vintage Basket Purse Leather Trim and Handle

Vintage basket purse woven in vinyl coated wicker with light brass tone hardware, leather trim and handle. Interior tag states "MADE IN HONG KONG." Great vintage fabric lining the interior however, there is a small straight tear in the fabric near the bottom of the purse measuring near 3/4" in length. This could be repaired easily with needle and thread. Metal feet and vinyl straps at base firmly attached.

10" width at top of basket, 12" width at base. 8" tall (12 3/4" including handle drop). 4 1/2" depth.

Unique Vintage Mod Bowler Handbag

Vintage ecru vinyl handbag in mod bowler style. Two open pockets surround the framed center compartment, which features pocket with working zipper. Interior is lined with brown vinyl and gold tone frame and closure. Handles are tortoise colored plastic and show signs of wear (see photo). There is a very faint pink discoloration on the exterior (pictured) but, shouldn't detract from appearance or use. Measurements: 11 3/4" width at base, 9 3/4" width at top of purse, 3" depth (flat), 8 3/4" tall (13" including handle drop). Handles are 6" wide.

Vintage chocolate brown patent vinyl purse with gold tone hardware and frame details. Great condition with minor wear to bottom base corners. Interior is clean and free of holes and tears. Interior is lined in brown grosgrain fabric and has pocket with working zipper. Marked "DOVER MADE IN U.S.A." Measurements: 13 1/2" width at base, tapers to 11 1/2" width, 4" depth. Purse is 7 1/2" tall, 13" including handle drop.

80s Lyrella Oversized Black Metal Mesh Cluth

Vintage 80s oversized evening bag can be used as a clutch purse or shoulder bag. Slightly organic (non-symmetrical) shape crafted of black leather-like material (unsure if it is leather or vinyl) and shiny black metal mesh. Single "knotted" strap closure with magnetic snap and tension clamshell style frame. Interior lining is intact with zippered coin compartment, signed "Lyrella" and has a small side tag that reads "metal mesh Made in Hong Kong."

Purse measures 14" wide 9" tall (26" total height including shoulder strap drop).

Vintage 50s Coblentz Evening Clutch, Embroidered Rose

Stunning 1950s/1960s evening bag by Coblentz for Saks Fifth Avenue. Black and gold iridescent fabric with tiny diamond shapes and single embroidered rose in varying shades of pink. Envelope style clutch opens to reveal second snapping envelope pocket. The black satin interior compartment has mirror pocket with original 2 1/2 x 3 1/2" mirror marked "Saks Fifth Avenue" (in its original packaging). Slat pocket and tethered coin purse are both lined with red satin. The original tag is attached which reads "Saks Fifth Avenue" and the price, 29.95. Truly an amazing find.

There is some light wear to exterior fabric due to age and storage so I can't describe this as Mint. However, this is in incredible condition with original contents intact.

Vintage 1960s Brown Handbag, Lucite Closure

Roomy vintage 1960s handbag with unique tortoise lucite closure. 10 1/2" tall (16 3/4" including handle drop), 10 1/2" wide. Interior is clean with no rips, tears or stains and is lined with beige vinyl. One 7" interior coin pocket with metal zipper in good working order. This is a great shape purse in a nice chocolate brown leather-look vinyl. Versatile and enough of a handle drop (6 3/4") that most could use as a shoulderbag to free the hands. Light gold tone metal frame and hardware.

Perfectly practical everyday divided chocolate brown clutch with great interior fabric pattern and dual kisslock closure. Purse is uniquely divided into two compartments. Textured exterior is more flat than photo shine portrays.

There is an optional use hinged hide-a-way chain strap. Faint gold tone finish hardware. Purse measures 10" wide at top, 12" wide at base with 1 1/2" depth. No interior tag or marking. No tears or stains to interior fabric, no scuffs/marks to exterior.

Unique black velvet vintage envelope clutch with goldtone bamboo accent by H.L. USA. Optional goldtone chain tucks inside when not in use. Vintage Butterscotch Lucite Basketweave Box Purse

Vintage basket purse with stunning butterscotch lucite frame and handles. Hardware is light brass colored metal. Barrel turn-key closure in good working order, handles and feet at base all firmly attached. Clear vinyl-coated natural straw is woven in a flat basketweave pattern. Lining is beige vinyl. There is one interior zippered coin pocket and one open pocket. The lining is loose at a seam near the top interior (see photo). This could be easily glued or tacked to prevent further separation. This flaw would not prevent use.

Vintage 1980's trapezoid style clutch with center pleat. Red leather is soft with slight pebble grain. Purse features nylon zipper with goldtone pull. Interior lined with black vinyl. No maker's mark however, interior tag reads "Genuine Leather" and "MADE IN ITALY." 11" at zipper, 12 1/4" at base, 8 1/4" height. Approximately 1/4" depth lying flat. Can be economically shipped in a bubble mailer.
