Vintage Painting Bonneted Girl & Bluebird, by Virgle Eberts

Sweet little 1960s painting on board features a young girl with braids, green dress, and hat with flowers, holding a bluebird. Signed "Virgle" and back bears address label for the presumed artist "Virgle Eberts." The paint on the frame shows its years and has wear in spots (evident in photographs). The frame, otherwise in good condition structurally, could easily be repainted or touched up if desired. Hanging wire firmly attached to back.

Vintage Deco Brown Leather Handbag, 1940s

This 1940's brown leather purse has a timeless tailored design which features deco details and gold tone hardware, grosgrain interior fabric and pocket with working zipper. There is minor scuffing present (see photo) however, appropriate for age and use and may disappear with a good polish. No major flaws noted. Interior is clean and in good condition. Four feet at base are firmly attached.

Measurements: 9 3/4" width, 3 3/4" depth, purse compartment is 5 1/4" in height (10 3/4" including handle drop).

Vintage Men's Fedora Hat

Handsome vintage men's Fedora style hat. Taupe felt with contrasting grosgrain band. Interior is lined with satin and crowned with clear vinyl. Marked "The Eagle" by Alexander with makers emblem "Alexander Customized." Interior band measures 23" in circumference. There are a few pinhole size wear spots to the underside of the brim felt (not visible when worn) but they are superficial only and do not extend through the brim. There is also one tiny spot above the front grosgrain band which appears to be a watermark. I have tried to capture the spot in photos however, due to the tonality it is not overt. Please see photos.

Vintage Hand Beaded Black Evening Bag, Hong Kong

Fine evening bag, hand beaded with thousands of tiny black round and tubular beads which create a monotone pattern which resembles chrysanthemums or perhaps fireworks. Nice filigree type gold tone frame and two aurora borealis rhinestones adorn the kisslock closure. This bag is in amazing condition with no missing beads, no loose threads and the interior black satin lining has no tears. An interior tag states "HAND BEADED, MADE IN HONG KONG." The bag weighs 1 lb, 2 oz empty. Some slight wearing to the gold tone at the kisslock closure and handle hardware is present, however this is only apparent on very close inspection. This bag has been very well cared for. 9" in width, nearly 1 3/4" depth at base and 7" height (13 1/2" including strap drop).

Vintage Brown Velvet Cloche, Button Detail

Amazing find. Unique vintage cloche crusher style hat by Valerie Modes. Womens size 22 1/2. Fabric, veloured felt, is chocolate brown in color and feels like a plush cotton velvet in spite of its age. Single button and grosgrain ribbon detail around brim. Amazing construction and profile. Hat is approximately 6" high and brim measures 8 1/2" in diameter.

Vintage Navy Patent Belt, Tortoiseshell Buckle

1960s vintage navy patent vinyl belt backed with navy grosgrain fabric. Tortoise lucite open buckle makes the belt adjustable to 34" waist. Total length, including buckle is 39 1/2" with 3" width. Buckle measures 3" tall by approximately 3 1/4" wide.

Bombshell Vintage 1950s Shrug Sweater, Felt Roses, Rhinestones

Absolutely fantastic vintage 1950's shrug style cropped sweater with 3/4 length sleeves. Would best fit modern sizes 6/8/10 however, please reference measurements below to ensure accurate fit. Cream colored wide kint sweater with fun loopy texture. Machine knit trim. Embellished with chenille and satin stems, and roses of yarn and felt. Four of the roses have single rhinestone accents on a petal. Roses are pink, dark pink and fuchsia in color. Sweater is in great condition except for a snag at the neckline facing interior (won't be seen when worn). Tag reads "Exclusive Fashions by Rosanna." No other garment markings. I assume the fabric to be a wool acrylic blend. Measurements as follow:

Vintage Basket Purse Leather Trim and Handle

Vintage basket purse woven in vinyl coated wicker with light brass tone hardware, leather trim and handle. Interior tag states "MADE IN HONG KONG." Great vintage fabric lining the interior however, there is a small straight tear in the fabric near the bottom of the purse measuring near 3/4" in length. This could be repaired easily with needle and thread. Metal feet and vinyl straps at base firmly attached.

10" width at top of basket, 12" width at base. 8" tall (12 3/4" including handle drop). 4 1/2" depth.

Vintage 40s Aviator Scarf

Description I purchased this heavy weight vintage aviator scarf, circa 1940s, from an estate sale. White in color, there are no markings so I am unsure of fabric content. It seems to be a dense good quality silk but possibly synthetic blend. The scarf is one panel of fabric doubled lengthwise to create a heavier drape. There is only one seam (internal raw edge) consistent with period military aviator pilot style. Ends of scarf are open with 1/4" fringe. This scarf is smooth with matte finish and has a heavy, cool hand. No snags or holes, though there are some very faint areas of discoloration on the underside. I'm not sure if these would come out with a cleaning or are remnants of stains. They are only visible on bright light close inspection and do not photograph. Scarf measures 12" wide, 48" long.
