Vintage Samsonite Streamlite Ladies Small Overnight Suitcase, Saddle Brown

I'm quite partial to this series of Samsonite luggage manufactured circa 1941-1955 by the Schwayder Brothers (inventors and makers of Samsonite). This suitcase is the hard to find "Ladies Small Overnight" in Samsonite Saddle Brown. It's a petite case and perfect for a child. Works as an airline carry-on under current FAA regulations as well. Though it is still usable and sturdy, stitching has loosened around the exterior endcap trim and the handle has hairline cracks. This is one of the most collectible vintage cases around, in the most desirable color and price reflects condition. This piece also bears a great initial plate "MLK." The interior is in very good condition for age. All hardware is in working order though, there is no key for the lock.

Vintage Aqua Rhinestone Flower Brooch

Beautiful unmarked vintage pin/brooch set in gold tone metal. Aqua colored faceted rhinestones in various shapes and cuts form a flower/snowflake design. Measuring 1 1/4" x 1 1/4", it's the perfect size for a knit hat or lapel.

Unique Vintage Mod Bowler Handbag

Vintage ecru vinyl handbag in mod bowler style. Two open pockets surround the framed center compartment, which features pocket with working zipper. Interior is lined with brown vinyl and gold tone frame and closure. Handles are tortoise colored plastic and show signs of wear (see photo). There is a very faint pink discoloration on the exterior (pictured) but, shouldn't detract from appearance or use. Measurements: 11 3/4" width at base, 9 3/4" width at top of purse, 3" depth (flat), 8 3/4" tall (13" including handle drop). Handles are 6" wide.

Vintage American Tourister Tri-Taper Suitcase

Vintage American Tourister hardside Tri-Taper suitcase in a streamlined sophisticated design. Fiberglass reinforced shell exterior color is multi-gray which creates woven or tweed effect. Interior color is a taupe/blush. Interior is near mint with two elasticized pockets and one working metal zippered compartment. Two ribbon tie-downs. Suitcase features locking silver tone hardware and comes with two keys in original envelope. Also included is the vintage American Tourister luggage i.d. tag as seen in photos.

Vintage Dover Brown Handbag

Vintage chocolate brown patent vinyl purse with gold tone hardware and frame details. Great condition with minor wear to bottom base corners. Interior is clean and free of holes and tears. Interior is lined in brown grosgrain fabric and has pocket with working zipper. Marked "DOVER MADE IN U.S.A." Measurements: 13 1/2" width at base, tapers to 11 1/2" width, 4" depth. Purse is 7 1/2" tall, 13" including handle drop.

Vintage 50s Zimco Cardigan

Sweet and pretty 50s cropped sweater, 3/4 (cropped) sleeves, crafted of 100% Virgin Wool. Unworn with original Zimco hang tag and size tag is vintage size "MEDIUM" however, please see measurements below to ensure accurate fit.

Sweater is cream in color with Peter Pan style collar and single satin covered button closure at neck. Collar, measuring 4" drop, is embellished with tiny pink satin rosettes and green satin threading. Closes with single satin covered button. Unique textured wool knit pattern with tiny garter and knit-stitch trim. Hang tag states "Zimco KNIT" and "CHN. ZIMMERMANN & SON CO. 100% VIRGIN WOOL"

Vintage 80s Braided Chain Necklace, Italy

Vintage single clasp necklace composed of braided sterling silver chains with slight variations in color. Chains are colored in subdued tones of gold vermeil, copper vermeil, and silver. Marked "Italy," 925," and "HCT." Chain measures 18" in length.

Vintage Copper Flower Brooch, Topaz Rhinestone

Substantial flower pin crafted from metal features a single topaz colored rhinestone at its center. The metal has the appearance of burnished copper however, is plated metal. Piece measures approximately 2 1/4" in diameter. Pin mechanism is 1 1/2" and is attached with a rivet.

Vintage Red Vinyl Handbag, Goldtone Closure

Vintage red vinyl handbag with goldtone accents and closure. 12" long, 6 1/4" high (11" with handle drop), 3 3/4" depth at base. There is one tiny pinhole present in vinyl near exterior corner/base. This appears as a speck in the last photograph. There are no holes or tears to the dark navy taffeta lining and metal zipper at interior pocket is in working order. There are four metal feet at the base which are firmly attached and in good condition. Gently used and wear consistent with age.

Vintage American Eagle Tooled Leather Belt, Mexico

Mexican tooled leather belt with American Eagle pattern. Belt measures 45" in length including gold tone buckle, and is 1 1/2" in width. Leather is chocolate brown in color and eagles are darker tan. This belt has seven buckle holes to adjust from 36-40" in however, size marked is 38. Reverse of belt reads "38 95 TOP GRAN LEATHER MADE IN MEXICO" and bears additional markings "KM627" and "5532."

80s Lyrella Oversized Black Metal Mesh Cluth

Vintage 80s oversized evening bag can be used as a clutch purse or shoulder bag. Slightly organic (non-symmetrical) shape crafted of black leather-like material (unsure if it is leather or vinyl) and shiny black metal mesh. Single "knotted" strap closure with magnetic snap and tension clamshell style frame. Interior lining is intact with zippered coin compartment, signed "Lyrella" and has a small side tag that reads "metal mesh Made in Hong Kong."

Purse measures 14" wide 9" tall (26" total height including shoulder strap drop).

Vintage Samsonite Streamlite Schwayder Bros Luggage, Rawhide

Vintage pair of coordinating Samsonite Streamlite suitcases by Schwayder Brothers, Inc Denver (circa 1941-1955). Both are Samsonite's Streamlite color "Natural Rawhide" which is a marbled tan. This set includes one "Ladies Overnight Regular" suitcase, model number 4531 and one Train Case (model 4512). Both in exceptional condition for age. The lift-out cosmetic tray in the train case has a small chip to one corner but, this does not prevent or deter use. Train case mirror is in tact as are interior stitched pockets. Mirror is in excellent condition. The Ladies Overnight has has two elasticized pockets, tie-downs, and ruched divider. There is one small pinhole to the fabric lining in the base but no other stains or tears present. Both have keys and working locks.

The Samsonite Ladies' Overnight Regular measures 21" wide, 15" tall (18 1/4" with handle extended), 7" depth at base tapers to 6" at top of case. Two interior compartments are separated with a ruched divider and each measures 20x14x3"

The Train Case measures 13 1/4" wide, 9" tall (11 1/2" with handle extended), 8 1/2" depth at base tapers to 7 1/2" depth at top of case.
